Enigmatic Brand Design

I had the task for being the brand designer for a new e-commerce website. This was a large task as I had to create the logo, the theme, choose the fonts for the brand, design the website and create the products for the brand.

My first job was to create a logo that would fit the theme of the store which was mysteries and the supernatural of the world. For the logo design, I created many variations on illustrator and this was the final selected one. This one worked well because the spiral theme is easy to work in the brand backgrounds and gives a mysterious feel yet also fits well with the wrapped text. My aim was to give a modern but playful look the the brand.

My task was to design the website that had a strong identity, so using Shopify's website builder I designed the website. Admittedly there was some limitations with Shopify's website builder however I used some custom coding and build images around the issues so in the end I am happy with the design as it fits perfectly with the brand design I created.

As you can see below I put the products into mock ups and gave them backgrounds to fit with the overall brand feel. It was important to create a solid style to the brand that can be reused for many different products and be instantly cognisable.
