Ontology, Taxonomy, and Choreography
This is the first step that we found the user needs in the UX course in the master's degree at Politecnico di Milano.
In this step we had to find our Mission, the feature that we imagined, and KRs which was our outcome.
If I try to simplify the meaning of Taxonomy for you I can say that imagine you want to organize your room. You decide where to put each item, like books on a shelf or clothes in a drawer. It's about grouping things together based on their similarities and giving them labels so you can find them easily.
Then we thought about contents, people, actions, and the links that connect everything together.
Ontology goes deeper. It's not just about where things are placed, but understanding what they actually mean.
The last one was the difficult step because Choreography brings it all together. It's like a dance routine where each move has a purpose and fits with the others. In our context, it's about defining the rules and patterns for how different parts of a system or concept interact. So, while taxonomy sorts things out and ontology delves into their meanings, choreography sets the stage for how everything works harmoniously.
