Project Description

The goal of Alponay Boishakh was to elevate the celebration of the Bengali New Year by promoting the Alponay Boishakh festival. Central to this objective was the aim to enhance user engagement with the rich heritage of Alpona art, a cherished tradition within Bengali culture.

In addition to fostering offline festivities, the project sought to create an immersive online experience, providing festival participants with access to event information and facilitating communication. Through these initiatives, Alponay Baishakh aimed to unite individuals both locally and globally in the joyous celebration of Bengali New Year, fostering a sense of cultural pride and community spirit.

The interactive microsite for Alponay Boishakh 1431 effectively promoted the festival and Bengali cultural traditions. It provided an engaging platform for users to experience Alpona art, an opportunity to express their artistic flair, and participate in the celebration.

It is a prime example of how interactive elements can enhance online experiences and promote events that reach hundreds.
