Diving into the Divine – Our Journey Begins

It’s hard to put into words the experience my wife and I had recently at the PSYCH-K® Divine Integration Retreat. This was not just another event for us, it was a transformative journey that has left us both deeply changed and incredibly grateful.

Lost and Found: Rediscovering Connection

Having already attended all the PSYCH-K® workshops previously, we felt a sort of completion, like finding a missing puzzle piece, when we attended the Divine Retreat. For me, personally, it was a much-needed reconnection. I felt like I had lost touch with myself and the Divine, and this retreat felt like a homecoming of sorts. It felt like a rekindling of a connection that had been waiting to be reignited.

A Symphony of Souls

I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone we encountered during this divine journey. Each one of you brought unique elements that significantly enhanced our transformative experience. A special acknowledgment goes to Martha for her phenomenal orchestration of this retreat. Martha’s son, JP, provided invaluable help with Spanish to English translation throughout the retreat, ensuring that we didn’t miss a beat despite our ongoing journey in mastering Spanish. On the final day, Carmen stepped in and continued the fantastic translation work, which was a tremendous help.

I am also incredibly grateful to Cuca, whose constant encouragement and motivation inspired us to make room in our hectic schedules and take part in this life-changing retreat. We were also so fortunate to share a car ride to the retreat with Mayela and her family, a delightful experience that started our journey on a high note. Every individual we met along the way enriched this journey, making it all the more special, and for that, we are immensely grateful.

Behind the Lens and My Role in a Spiritual Masterpiece

Having the opportunity to collaborate with Martha in providing my videography services was an absolute privilege. This unique blend of my professional expertise with such a deeply personal journey gave me a multifaceted connection to the retreat. Partnering with Martha’s son, JP, was a significant part of this experience. JP demonstrated exceptional skills in on-site filming, capturing the essence of the PSYCH-K® retreat in every frame.

His work provided a dynamic foundation for the editing process, where I shaped the raw footage, cut clips, added the pulse of music, and incorporated the important details of translation and subtitles.

Visual Alchemy. Crafting an Emotional Mosaic

Working alongside JP wasn’t just about creating a video – it was a transformative journey parallel to the retreat itself. Our collaboration enhanced the depth and breadth of the video, enabling it to showcase the subtle changes each participant underwent on a mind, body, heart, and soul level. The resulting video isn’t just a collection of moments from the Divine Integration Retreat; it’s a testament to the power of collaboration, an artefact of transformative growth and, above all, a moving tribute to the essence of the PSYCH-K® experience.

Looking at the final video, I couldn’t be prouder. It’s a beautiful testament to the emotions and spirit of the retreat, a window into the transformation that took place there. As a web designer and videographer, being able to create something that could reflect such a profound experience was deeply gratifying.
