Marathon Sports e-Commerce Site

Based in New England, Marathon Sports is an iconic run-specialty retailer that offers a wide selection of shoes and gear along with community group runs, events, and a personalized gait analysis process.

For the website redesign, we wanted to produce a vibrant site with a top notch user-experience – something that would stand out from the crowd without sacrificing performance or speed. We worked to strike that balance by pairing a handful of graphic "textures" like chalk highlights and small runner illustrations with layouts that are otherwise clean and minimal.

The online shopping experience was a driving focus of the project, so we spent extra time strategizing around the browse hubs and individual product pages. Users are drawn into those areas of the site through an intuitive main navigation flow and featured product grids on the homepage and other key landing pages.
