Wu Zetian: Close-Up 1

Wu Zetian began her political career as a concubine to Emperor Tai Tsung. When his son succeeded the throne, she became his concubine, and eventually became his wife. She kicked her own son off the throne and became the first woman Emperor of China. She ruled for fifteen years and gave the throne back to her son in her last year of life. Wow.
