Stadtfest 2015

This was a (rejected) submission for a designcontest for the "City Festival 2015" in Bern Switzerland.

The idea was to merge the urban areas with the medieval parts of the city with typography only.

So I decided to mix Blackletters with some "urbanist" hand lettering.

The application would have been on those plastic cups you drink beer of at these kind of festivals.

I'm pretty happy with the basic idea. But overall… Nah, that could have been better, especially the color.
