WhatsApp (Filter for Status Updates)

WhatsApp's status updates section, similar to Instagram stories, displays temporary updates from your contacts. However, filtering these updates by Recently Viewed, Viewed, Muted, or Blocked requires scrolling down and opening a dropdown menu. This interaction could be more user-friendly.

This proposal introduces a permanent filter bar at the top of the page, inspired by the recently added chat filters. This bar will allow users to quickly switch between different status views, eliminating the need to scroll and access a dropdown menu.
