PopCorn Movie Ticket App
#UIX101 Task #054 Completed!
Task: Design a minimalist and easy-to-use booking and confirmation process for a startup aiming to sell movie tickets quickly.
Solution: I designed the payment flow for a movie ticket app called Popcorn, following the instructions provided. Users can quickly proceed to the payment page by following a straightforward flow.
📍 Location-based cinema listings: Based on the user's location, nearby cinemas are listed on the cinema hall, session, number of people, and hall type (IMAX, Dbox, 4DX, etc.) selection page. If a specific hall type is not available in a particular cinema, it will be shown as inactive in the menu.
🛋️ Visual seat selection: Users can select their seats by clicking on the seats in the visual representation. If they don't want to do this or don't think it's important, they can skip this step and have seats automatically assigned to them.
🎫 QR code for tickets: If the payment information is entered correctly, the user will be directed to the payment success screen, and the flow will be completed. At this point, the user will have access to the ticket QR code. They can also access this code from the "My Tickets" tab, which is the second icon from the left on the tab bar.
Here is the prototype:
I'm excited to hear your feedback!
