Birds!

I've been working recently with Coventry University's Centre for Agroecology, Water and Resilience (CAWR) to provide illustrations for a number of their current research projects. They're a great client to work with—providing me with plenty of interesting subjects to depict and lots of background information.

These little bird sketches of a Starling, Blackbird and Robin, were done as preliminaries before starting on the final watercolour depictions. I'm pretty happy with how they turned out!
