Giant Food “This is Home”

Reusable grocery bag design for Giant Food’s 2024 “This is Home” campaign.

I was selected as the featured artist for the state of Delaware.

Challenge:

The creative brief was to represent my home and home state in some way that would incorporate Giant’s brand color (purple) and logo.  

Solution:

My quilt pattern concept incorporated a customized palette that included Giant’s purple as well as shades of Delaware’s blue and gold state colors. I incorporated various state animals and foods in my folk art-inspired design, including: state bird (blue hen), state insect (ladybug), state dessert (peach pie), and state fruit (strawberry).
