Pressure Mapping Motion Graphic

Occupational Therapy students attending Colorado Mesa University called for a collaboration with a designer to support and aid their research for Student Showcase 2024. The brief described many farmers, who experience SCI (spinal cord injury), are at high risk of injuring themselves and obtaining pressure ulcers. A need for adaptive seating is crucial for these farmers to continue their work. Through the use of motion graphics, the pressure mapping scans of three farmers were used to highlight the significance of each individual’s needs and the importance for adaptive tractor seating.
