Calliope Hummingbird

#Feathruary Day 20: (littlest bird) Calliope Hummingbird. The smallest bird in North America and Canada is the Calliope Hummingbird. This tiny feathered friend is named after the Greek muse Calliope who was the mother of the famous Orpheus. As for their small size, the Calliope Hummingbird weighs only 2-3 grams, which is about the same as a penny!
