PDF Expert Meets Apple Vision Pro 🕶✨
Hey everyone!
I'm thrilled to share a sneak peek into our concept design project—a collaborative effort between myself and the amazing motion designer, Zakharmotion.
Today, we're diving into the creative process behind visualizing how the PDF Expert app could be represented in the environment of the Apple Vision Pro 😎.
Let's see how neural networks helped bring our vision to life.
Choosing the Perfect Frame 🖼
Our journey began with MidJourney 5, which helped us generate hundreds of scenes to find the one that truly resonated with us — a young woman, fully engaged with her VR headset, sitting comfortably in her cozy living room. This is where our adventure started!
Mastering the Details 🔍
Having a good base image is just the start. We quickly realized that one great generation isn't enough. Despite our hopes that AI would handle all the heavy lifting at the push of a button, reality required us to generate over 150 versions of the same scene. So, we carefully pieced together the perfect composition from these fragments, like assembling a detailed mosaic.
Who said neural networks would do everything in one click? 😉
Apple Vision Pro in Action! 🕶
Integrating the Apple Vision Pro—a brand new device not yet known to the MidJourney dataset — posed a real challenge. This meant rolling up our sleeves and getting down to traditional 3D modeling with Cinema 4D, using prepared models of the Vision Pro and iPad to ensure everything looked just right in our final composition.
The Magic of Post-Processing ✨
Finally, we reached my favorite part—bringing it all together! We tweaked lighting, reflections, and color grading to ensure each element was not only visually appealing but also felt like part of a cohesive whole. The final image isn't just about showcasing an app, it's about creating a space that feels real and inviting.
Before and After 🔄
Check out the transformation from our initial MidJourney draft to the polished final image. It's quite the evolution!
Thanks for your attention! While this design didn't hit production, it still led to our promo video (which you can watch here) with some significant changes.
So, actually, we enjoyed bringing this concept to life — twice! 😁
