Robocall Blocking iOS - Known Caller - Answer Call

About

I led design on this project at my previous employer. Robocall blocking was a new feature added to our suite of products in 2024.

We worked in collaboration with a robocall blocker company to create this co-branded app. The robocall app is designed for native iOS and Android.

My work

I created designs in Figma, following Human Interface Guidelines for iOS and Material for Android.

My work also included:

  • meeting with our robocall client regularly

  • editing the color scheme to match our branding

  • providing logo and imagery assets

  • changes to the flow of screens

  • working with our copy writer and legal to update content

  • design updates based on native system updates for example, iOS Live Voicemail involved multiple changes for the iOS experience

  • sharing password protected design files with our client

  • answering design questions in Slack and Figma

  • design testing and QA, making sure the developed screens look correct using TestFlight for iOS

A note about this project

The known caller - answer call flow is when the user gets a call from someone in their contacts and the user decides to answer the call. In this example, the user has waited for their caller to start to leave a voicemail before joining the call.

The screens in this post represent the final versions of the practice call iOS flow. Please note that there were multiple design and copy iterations beforehand that are not represented here. I've also had to remove logo and company names on these screens due to legal limitations.
