10/32 – Florida Sharks Uniforms

Behind the Stitches

One of the UFL's founding franchises, the Florida Sharks, honor the past and keep things simple with their uniform set.

The indigo-colored helmet is dominated by the incorporation of the primary full-bodied shark – which was built specifically to fit the contour of the modern helmet carefully avoiding vent holes that may hinder the application of the decal. The front and back bumpers contain "Sharks" and "Florida" wordmarks respectively.

Each jersey top features two indigo color-blocked panels across the three sets: the collar and the sleeve caps, which include the secondary shark fin logo. The two home-designated sets of indigo and yellow feature the "Sharks" wordmark under the collar with the white road set opting for "Florida".

The pants – a closet of white, indigo, and special occasion yellow sets – holds a single stripe that tapers in to a softened point reminiscent of the typographic style of the wordmark and number sets. On the white and yellow sets, this stripe is indigo and on the darkest set this stripe is yellow.

The jersey number was built in tandem with the wordmarks, with points and curves that mimic the motion of the shark in the primary, but in a more squared appearance. Liberties were taken to make the letterforms more "shark-like" and unique to the team.

These mockups were made with a modified and retextured Madden 20 on PC. The in-game screenshots were then used to create a composition in Photoshop.
