Travel Poster Series "Wanderlust"

I made this series as an appreciation of our new home - a region that has beautiful history and architecture and the most incredible light. As we "fled" from the capital I explored this new mood in my illustrations that leans heavily on the German Romantics movement, with an emphasis on the emotion and subjective experience, beauty and travel. I integrated analog textures such as ink and watercolour, as well as exaggerated perspective lines to give it a warm and dynamic feeling.
