Remotely — A remote work platform for the tech industry

Hi there!

Today, I'm sharing a project I worked on a few years ago during my time at Z1: Remotely.works. This platform addresses a significant challenge in the tech industry—the imbalance between the demand and supply of software development talent.

Remotely.works, founded by entrepreneurs Pau Sabria, Jose de Cabo, Sebas Álvarez, and Pau Suris, aimed to bridge this gap by connecting developers with startups in a seamless and efficient manner.

What makes this project unique is its simplicity and effectiveness. Remotely started with a simple setup, using Zapier and Airtable to match developers with tech companies. At Z1, we joined their mission to take the platform to the next level by creating a visually appealing interface that automates the matching process. The clean and intuitive UI ensures a smooth experience for both software developers and fast-growing startups, setting it apart in a crowded remote work marketplace.

Although Remotely's founders were still refining their business offering, we designed an adaptable product with an iterative approach. This flexibility allowed the platform to evolve with the tech industry's changing needs, ensuring it remained relevant not just then, but also in the years to come.

Check out our work on Remotely.works, and let us know what you think. I'm proud to have contributed to a platform that is not only functional but also adaptable for the future.
