Elatus brand identity design

Brand identity unveiled for a company that makes and distributes gluten free foods. Case study 👇 Challenge: The first stumbling block that needed to be tackled first was coming up with a name that resonates with the message. The aim was to convey sense of glamour whilst being approachable at the same time. Another challenge was to develop identity system that resonates with the target audience which are people on budget. Solution: Embarked on a research for patterns, how people respond to certain designs and developed elements to resonate with the brand message as well. Brand name: Wanted to used "Elated" which means extremely happy and excited but wanted the name to be distinct and one that will last for long. So translated into Latin which is a language that has been used for decades and still lives up to this. Then came up with "Elatus". To complement the atmosphere of excitement, the brand also need be associated with a mascot, an animal with playful behaviour, fun, so went for "Penguin". Truth be told, animated characters are associated with fun and excitement. Colour palette: Since the aim was to convey sense of glamour (excitement, magic, fascination, attraction), went for red which is associated with energy "excitement, attractiveness". Another idea to create and capture "cherish" exciting moments with the friends and family, so used gold colour which is associated with richness "something that is special"-in this case every exciting moment matters so needs to be cherished forever. Typeface: To complement the atmosphere of excitement, the font to be used also needed to be speak one language of the brand. So the font used is San Louis which is glamourous in its nature, playful as well. Brand Products: The company specializes in selling foods that are gluten free, so the range were cornflakes and oats. This was also another challenge for me, to develop packaging design that resonate with the target audience but worked out well. Brand services: Not only does the company ends at making the products, but it also offers distribution services worldwide to ensure that the target audience's expectations are met. your text here...
