Game app - Customer journey analysis (FarmVille 3)
Hello designers!
Today, I would like to share my analysis of the customer journey for the FarmVille 3 mobile app.
I remember when I played the first Farm on Facebook. A lot has changed since then. So, why not use my design skills to create a customer journey analysis while playing this game?
First, I set the goal: To map a customer journey from the onboarding stage to the re-engagement stage, evaluate the user experience, identify pain points, and propose improvements to enhance the overall user journey.
During the game, I took notes on paper, recorded videos, and captured screenshots for reference later.
Then, I created a customer journey map and prepared the screenshots and videos for further processing.
As the final step, I created wireframes and edited screenshots to include visual representations for the proposed improvements in my analysis.
I'm sharing this project because I'm not designing for my computer, but for people. And if you find something useful in it, I would be more than happy.
Now. Let me ask you something. Do small improvements like these make better products? For me, absolutely.
That is why we should always remember to consider not only our business objectives but also the needs of our users. If our product or service fails to satisfy people, what do you think will happen? They will stop using it, which will most probably result in a decrease in our revenue.
