My technique involves gathering the client's information first.

(2) Mind-map related terms.

(3) Seek inspiration (logobook).

(4) Draw a bunch of preliminary concepts on scrap paper.

(5) Re-sketch selected concepts on a grid sheet with care.

(6) Digitize the sketch.

(7) Modify the concept.

Tools used: pencil, paper, Windows PC, Acer laptop, and Adobe Illustrator.
