Cost forecast dashboard for a Zero emissions B2B SaaS

The goal

Display the energy cost for the upcoming three fiscal years and the sustainability projects that will be running along those years.

The challenge

The data to be displayed included overall year cost forecast, cost per month forecast, and a list of the sustainability projects that consumed all this energy, all of that for the upcoming 3 years.

To make this information quickly readable for managers, we advised the client on how to select which data made sense to show at this step of the decision making.

We then worked on making visually clear how the financial data was aggregated, from the project detail all the way to the yearly overview.

We also visualized the data in a timeline, which allowed us to correlate costs with projects over the 3-year forecast.

The outcome

A cost informative dashboard where the CFOs and Project managers can quickly measure if their upcoming costs will fit the company's energy consumption expectations. At the same time, they can see the peaks in forecasted energy consumption and take action if needed.
