Mini Case Study:Fave App (Favorites from Social Media Platforms)

In today's world, a great deal of importance is placed on social media presence. This is why we try to be present on every platform in some way. But sometimes platforms can become impossible to follow. As if the existence of many different platforms is not enough, there may be times when you have to manage multiple accounts on the same platform.

Sometimes, users want to save their favorite posts. These posts are typically added to favorites within the specific platform. However, as the number of favorited posts increases, it can become difficult to remember which account they were favorited from or which platform they were on.

Problem: The increasing difficulty of locating saved or favorited posts as the number of social media accounts grows.

Suggestion: A centralized platform for accessing all favorited content.

Fave is an application that allows users to view and manage their favorite social media content on a single platform. The app allows users to save their favorite content, set it into categories and share it with friends. Fave aims to make users' social media experiences more organized and enjoyable.

Design Details:

Since the color yellow represents joy, energy and optimism, I made a design with a focus on yellow.

When the application is opened, the user is greeted with the latest favorite posts. These posts come in three types: Text, Image and Video.

Additionally, the user can filter through these posts and choose which platform they want to see their favorites on.

If they decides that a post is no longer a favorite, they can remove that post from the app. To do this, just long-tap on the relevant post and press the trash can icon that appears.

📲 User can integrate social media accounts into Fave application.

Some platforms may not allow integration of the application or new platforms may appear over time. In such cases, if users want to continue using the application, they can copy and paste the URL they want to add to their favorite lists and add it to Fave.

Settings page lets the user control their accounts, customize how content appears, and connect or disconnect platforms. They can also tweak privacy settings for a seamless and secure experience.
