⛰️ Swisspeak Resorts - Web site's user experience redesign

Are you looking for a family 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 vacation? Visit Switzerland 🇨🇭 in the heart of its mountains, in apartments designed with 👉 you in mind. Swisspeak Resorts offers four 4-season ⛷️🧗 destinations in its fully-equipped resorts🌟.

Website architecture + Booking funnel redesign

🎯 Target: City families with children looking for mountain vacations.

😖 Pain: Direct booking on the establishment's website competes with online booking websites, which take a commission on each stay.

📱Solution: Optimize the user experience on the swisspeakresorts.com website for prospecting and booking.

🚀 Approach: User-centered design, with a focus on UX research and minimizing development.

Understanding the user

Tests performed:

👀 3 seconds test on the home page.

💬 Interview on vacation booking habits and travel in general.

🧠 Usability test ( task 1: find an apartment / task 2: Book it).

🃏 Card sorting.

Panel selection:

The company's in-house team created a persona and provided to me. I then sought to obtain as diverse a sample as possible, while respecting the persona's key points, made up of women with one or more children, single / divorced / in a heterosexual couple / in a homosexual couple.

Architecture, Content and SEO

Booking flow

Redesign the selection process to reduce cognitive load, limit unwanted behavior (no pop-out) and reassure the user.

💡 Tracking improvement:

By replacing the pop-out with a funnel of pages, we can track important KPIs and gather quantitative insights.
