The fintech industry in India has grown tremendously over the last decade, and Upstox stands among the biggest players in the field. Our mandate was to rebrand the product as it headed into its next stage of global expansion. The story of Upstox’s growth is a tale of constantly moving ‘up’ — a motif that became central to our explorations. The new branding needed to fit into an international market while standing apart on its own. We constructed a sharp, minimal logo that made room for growth, extended easily, and embraced motion. In fact, the entire visual language is a play on the upward arc, without crowding the senses or seeming excessive. The revamped brand bridges the gap between Upstox’s beginnings and its lofty and mature ambitions. The stage is set for Upstox to grow — as it expands and evolves into an ecosystem of brands.
