A tribute to Mahakavi Bharathiyar

Mahakavi Bharathiyar

Chinnaswami Subramania Bharathi (11 December 1882 – 11 September 1921) was an Indian writer, poet, journalist, Indian independence activist and social reformer from Tamil Nadu, India. Bharathi was first among the growing school of Renaissance poets during this period who insisted that the only way for a country to grow was through empowering its women.

On his birthday, I would like to pay tribute to this legend. Happy 133rd birthday to Mahakavi Bharathiyar.
