Day 10 - Design a Social Share Snippet
Design Approach:
For this project, I'm excited to create a visually engaging social share snippet for a cooking website's blog page. My design approach focuses on simplicity, readability, and user engagement, ensuring that users can easily share their favorite articles with their social networks.
Hero Page:
Top Navigation: The hero page features a top navigation bar with different sections, including blog posts, to provide users with easy access to relevant content.
Article List: The main content area displays a list of articles, allowing users to browse through various topics and select articles of interest.
Top Ranking Posts: A right navigation section highlights top-ranking posts, providing users with additional recommendations and insights into popular content.
Clicked Article Page:
Article Title: Upon clicking on an article, the title is displayed prominently at the top of the page, with a bold font to draw attention.
Author Information: Below the title, the author's name is displayed, along with buttons for users to like and share the article on social media.
Article Excerpt: A brief excerpt of the article is included below the author information, giving users a glimpse into the content.
Article Image: On the right side of the page, an image related to the article is showcased to provide visual context and enhance the overall reading experience.
Share Confirmation Page:
Confirmation Message: After clicking the share button, users are redirected to a confirmation page with a message thanking them for sharing the article.
Social Share Icons: Social share icons are prominently displayed, allowing users to choose their preferred social media platform for sharing the article.
Return Option: Users are provided with an option to return to the article or explore other content on the website.
Purpose: The goal of this design is to encourage user engagement and social sharing by providing a seamless and visually appealing experience for sharing blog articles. By simplifying the sharing process and offering clear calls to action, users are more likely to share their favorite articles with their social networks, thereby increasing the website's reach and visibility.
