PlayStation - Full Screen Experience

Is the PlayStation app missing out on a potential app feature: Full-screen browsing for previewing and downloading games?

This morning I sat and thought about seamlessly exploring titles with instant previews directly within the PlayStation app interface. Scrolling up and down between titles and tapping your way through image and video gameplay previews.

While implementing such a design may pose challenges, such as choosing the edition of the game, viewing add-ons and selecting which paired console to download to; not forgetting all the states associated with image and video, loading states and potential download errors, however solutions to these could all be entirely possible.

Observing similar features in platforms like Spotify, among others, begs the question: TikTok uses this experience as a way to shop, why not PlayStation?

The only possible drawback to this experience would be ease of getting to the game that you want, but one could say it could be placed in a new section entirely on its own advertising new or old titles.

Just a nice little bit of food for thought for my brain and keeping my skills sharp.
