Cell C Broadband Flexi & Fibre Products TVC 1 (Home Connecta)
In 2022, Cell C contacted Sea Monster via their agency, Joe Public Advertising, to recreate real campaign characters into 2D animations.
After creating a look and feel that was fit for animation and resonant with existing collateral, Sea Monster then developed character sets and 4 animated TVCs to creatively communicate Cell C's product offerings.
The first of these was to promote their Flexi and Fibre product, "Home Connecta" and features the aunt and niece duo, Thandeka and Kefi.
Below is a demo of Kefi's rig from one of the TVC's shots, as well as turnarounds of the two characters, showing their evolution from initial sketches to final colour designs.
