HROOTS ERP System
Creating UX/UI for HR service
In large companies with a growing workforce, efficient HR management becomes vital. We've developed a web service called HRoots tailored explicitly for such companies. The interface's gem is a structured map that facilitates easy navigation through employee profiles and related data.
We've engaged with all relevant departments within the target companies, mapped out processes within the interface, and made sure developers implemented everything as intended.
Efficient employee search and orientation in a vast structure
As a team matures, communication becomes more complex, processes lengthen, and bureaucracy increases. Tasks inevitably demand automation. Based on our experience, a company with a staff of 300+ already expends significant resources on recruitment, training, and organizing the work of newcomers.
Thus, the management of HRoots approached us with the following requests:
Rapid adaptation of newcomers so they can immediately focus on work rather than familiarizing themselves with the hierarchy and departmental interactions;
Empowering employees to reach out to the right people themselves because the task of finding individuals like "John Smith, head of such-and-such department" was previously handled manually through emails.
Conducting interviews and gathering all non-standard cases
We gathered requirements and data for designing the structure, compiled a feature list, matched it with development capabilities, and began creating an analog of Pingboard. Initially, we worked as analysts, documented all potential product use cases, and had several iterations of review to ensure we correctly understood user needs.
The entire hierarchy of employees was revealed to us during interviews with the HR department. It was during these interviews that we learned about crucial nuances. For instance, some companies had a complex hierarchy of departmental subordination with multiple levels of nesting. This means an employee works within a group, which is part of a department, which is part of another department, and so on, up to 5-6 levels deep.
The first version of the service in 3 months
Working with the HRoots team and developers, we successfully created an MVP of the corporate portal in just three months. It's already operational and saving time for HR professionals and other employees. Now, they can quickly find colleagues and filter all employees based on various parameters.
If you're seeking a team that can transform your manual processes into automated services, feel free to reach out to us. We'd be delighted to share our experience!
