A Cosmic Collaboration
This cover art was created for the single "Supernova" by musicians Audrey Callahan and Michael Wilbur, available on Spotify and other streaming platforms.
Audrey & Michael came to me with a vision of a glowing space scene that featured both of them (and Michael's sax!), to reflect the 'explosive nature' of a supernova, which ties into the lyrics of the song.
Design Concept
Beyond simply illustrating their idea, I worked closely with them to shape a design that reflected both their personal identities as well as the larger-than-life themes of their music.
We came up with a visual narrative that embodied empowerment & self-discovery, as well as being strategically eye-catching for digital platforms, encouraging listeners to click on and listen to the song.
Work with me
One of the most rewarding aspects of this project was getting to work on a design based on the theme of reclaiming personal strength. It’s always such a fulfilling experience to translate musicians' vision into visual art, especially with projects that carry deep meaning like this one.
