FIU Thrive - Connecting Communities to Services

The Challenge

Florida International University had a project to build a mobile app that connects users with different services that may help them across 12 health domains.

Elevating the Design

The project was already running when Kimera arrived, but it lacked clarity and shape. A design system was already in place and we took that existing design system to build clean screens that are both beautiful and usable.

Personalized Health Assessments

FIU Thrive allows the user to complete checkups to assess their health.

Goal Selection

Based on their answers, they will be prompted to select goals in the areas they are not doing too well.

Seamless Service Integration

After that they would add services to their plan and the app would provide the contact mechanisms for those services.

Flexible Goal Setting

The users can always set more goals at any point and select services for those goals.

Transparent and Professional Stakeholder Communication

Throughout the project, Kimera maintained a high level of transparency and professionalism in their communication with FIU stakeholders. Regular meetings were held to provide updates on progress, discuss challenges, and gather feedback. Kimera's team actively listened to stakeholder concerns and ideas, fostering a collaborative environment. Design decisions were clearly explained and aligned with the project's goals, ensuring stakeholders were informed and engaged every step of the way.
