Chatbot widget redesign

My role: UX Designer.

Goal: To redesign the chatbot widget based on customer needs, new trends, components and use cases.

Main challenge: the current widget lacks dynamism and only permits linear chat conversations.

Product: new widget with different components and functionalities to enhance the customer experience.

Pain points: Users can't interact in a dynamic way with the chatbot / Information can't be adapted to different needs, such as collapsible tabs o pop up windows.

Solution includes:

  • Human digital to greet users and develop personality

  • UI according to brand luxury and design guidelines

  • Gradient design trend

  • GenAI bar for legal disclaimer

  • Banner to promote use cases

  • Communication tone and menu according to user mood

  • Input bar more accesible: audio and language

  • Options depending on user needs

  • Collapsible menu with popular optionsto navigate in different sections

  • Rate me option

  • Predictive text bar with popular suggestions

  • Related topics bar

  • Pop up window for long FAQS

  • Dynamic carrousel

  • Car-sales section with relevant information, includes videos and downloads

  • Smart fallback with related topics
