Mobile-first Judicial Department Homepage Wireframe

This design, created speculatively as part of work for GovWebworks, aims to meet a variety of needs that visitors to a state judicial department website may have. Supported through user research previously conducted for judicial clients, this design promotes 'self service' by making court services more transparent and accessible. It highlights common and high-traffic areas and speaks to audience segments, including those representing themselves, and legal professionals. It emphasizes accessibility, with large clickable regions, icons used strategically to support recongize-ability (key for individuals who don't have strong English language skills), and supports a variety of paths to reach desired content, including searching for localized services, an alphabetical index of topics, featured content and a faceted search.
