During customer research we discovered that there’s not much awareness of our secondary player for Twitter if a video is over 30 seconds. We don't communicate our work-around anywhere should a video be longer than this.
It feels validated that customers want to avoid sharing a video in the secondary player instead of natively. That’s why we’re going to introduce a modal that warns and educates customers. Additionally we want to give customers some more context and show on hover how a video is going to be shared on each network.
Customer development validated this interaction as valuable for our top video sharers and we’ll be rolling out this small improvement soon. :)
