About the Project:

Amélie, a Mat Pilates instructor and massage therapist based in Auckland, New Zealand, sought to establish a brand identity that exuded luxury, warmth, energy, and a hint of femininity. This endeavor aimed to reflect her passion for wellness and attract clientele seeking a rejuvenating experience.

Mission:

  1. Create a New Logo: Develop a logo that embodies the essence of Amélie's brand, aligning with her vision and values.

  1. Establish Brand Identity: Create brand guidelines to maintain consistency across various platforms and materials.

Process:

  1. Initial Consultation: Engaged in an in-depth discussion with Amélie to understand her preferences, aspirations, and brand identity goals.

  1. Moodboard Creation: Presented several moodboard options to capture the desired aesthetic and ambiance, guiding the visual direction of the brand.

  1. Sketching Phase: Generated rough sketches to explore various design directions, incorporating elements that resonated with Amélie's vision.

  1. Concept Development: Grouped the rough sketches into cohesive concepts, refining them to align with Amélie's feedback and preferences.

  1. Typography and Color Selection: Collaborated with Amélie to select an appropriate typeface that complemented the chosen concept. Also, curated a harmonious color palette that evoked the desired emotions and ambiance.

  1. Brand Guidelines: Compiled a set of brand guidelines outlining logo variations, color specifications, typography guidelines, and examples of imagery to maintain brand consistency.

Solution:

The culmination of the project resulted in a sophisticated and versatile brand identity solution:

  • Sleek Logo Design: Developed a sleek and elegant logo that captured the essence of Bodylines by Amélie. The logo was designed to seamlessly integrate across various digital and print platforms, ensuring brand cohesion.

  • Brand Identity: Created a new brand identity with clear guidelines on logo usage, color schemes, typography choices, and imagery preferences. These guidelines serve as a roadmap for maintaining brand consistency and integrity across all touchpoints.

The final deliverables empower Amélie to establish a cohesive and impactful brand presence, both online and offline.

Continuing from the logo and branding project, the design elements were integrated into the development of a new website for Bodylines by Amélie.
