🧸 An Artistic Journey
Long before the digital canvas, my journey in art began with the simplest of tools: pencil and paper. As a child, I would watch Pokémon on television and create my own playthings by drawing and cutting out each character, storing them in a makeshift cardboard treasure box. Those paper Pokémon were more than just playthings; they were the seeds of my imagination, sparking epic narratives of battle and adventure.
Fast forward to 2019, and I found myself dipping my toes into the digital waters with Photoshop and a drawing tablet. Those early digital sketches were rough around the edges, but they marked a pivotal transition from traditional to digital artistry.
In the year 2023, with an iPad Pro and Procreate at my fingertips—a deliberate investment I made in 2021—my artistic capabilities have soared. The shift to digital mediums has not only expanded my creative horizons but also refined my techniques, bringing a new level of sophistication to my work.
Every stroke I make is a testament to my journey of perseverance and self-improvement. While there’s still a vast expanse of knowledge to traverse, each piece brings me closer to realizing the dreams of that young artist who once found joy in paper battles.
