Rebranding: Pétanque-Freunde-Rathenauplatz e.V.
The object of this project was the rebranding of the boule club "Petanque-Freunde-Rathenauplatz E.V." based in Cologne. Intending to attract more young people, the design required a modern retouch. They aim at a demography between the Age of 16 to 24. Their philosophy revolves around fun, excitement and community.
To recall the exciting feel of the brand, the logo incorporates a dynamic swing. The shining Element gives it a modern touch
The desired colors were Orange and Blue, a strong contrast. In the final design, the strong, energetic orange is complimented by a dark, sophisticated blue to push it even further. The light green and yellow add more excitement to the palette.
The swing in the logo doesn't only give it a touch of dynamic, it also serves as a key element to the brand identity and recognition. Furthermore, it resembles the crossing lines on the boule.
