Shot 060 - Level Knob
Today's upload is a level knob for controlling brightness and contrast levels. Thing is that this post didn't seem that exciting to me at the time, so I twisted it into a futuristic dial with a lot of details. The brightness value is selected in this case, and the divider connects it to the number on the left on a scale of 1-100. Once contrast is selected, it'll highlight that word and select the number on the right. The orange fill will adapt and correspond to the currently selected value to match.
The whole thing is largely inspired by the work of Bradley G. Munkowitz – I'm a huge fan of his work from his direction on the Oblivion movie to his creative installations on the Santa Monica Pier for TrueCar. Honestly it inspires me to learn more about creative coding and aesthetic computing in general, so maybe I'll pick it up again soon.
@2x. Thoughts welcome.
