Design System - Teachers

Built a Figma Design System for Knowledgehook's teacher app.

As the lead designer, I proposed and executed the roll out of Figma for our team of designers, PMs, and developers.

This work included designing the components, writing documentation, creating guides, and training our team, but also, learning about accessibility, design tokens, and developer spec handoff.

Today, an average 85% of a single design file is made up of tokens and components sourced from this design system. This high utilization of tokens and components has resulted in time savings of 20%–30% for more straightforward tasks and time savings of up to 50% for projects that are more complex.

Boosted productivity enables the design team to focus on impactful design solutioning, instead of second guessing the nuances of UI components.
