Project Overview

The Royal Society of Victoria enlisted our team to modernize their web presence. Their existing WordPress site necessitated a complete overhaul, leading to migration to Webflow, a robust platform. A pivotal aspect involved developing a native content management system (CMS) within Webflow. This custom CMS empowers RSV stakeholders to efficiently manage an extensive article database, event calendars, and Science Victoria Magazine promotions.

Client

The Royal Society of Victoria, Victoria's oldest scientific society, is a community dedicated to nurturing scientific knowledge for the benefit of the state. Grounded in evidence-based decision making, scientific literacy, and purposeful actions, the society serves educators, practitioners, and enthusiasts alike.

Objective

Our aim was to design a user-friendly website meeting the diverse needs of Victoria's scientific community. Prioritising a seamless back-end experience for the client would enable efficient management of articles, content types, events, and Science Victoria Magazine promotions.

The Solution

Recognising the significance of user experience, we focused on a native CMS within Webflow. This eliminated the need for external plugins, streamlining the experience for stakeholders and visitors alike. The custom CMS granted complete control over website content, facilitating efficient organisation, editing, and publishing of articles. Similarly, event calendar updates and Science Victoria Magazine promotions were effortless. This approach ensures a robust and informative online presence for Victoria's scientific community.
