This foldout booklet was designed as a display card for kids to add sticker badges as they earn them from the STEM club monthly activities.

Although the activity kits are fun and engaging on its own, kids easily get disinterested in toys quickly. Badges and collecting items are a powerful mechanic that can be used to drive motivation.

When a collection book is nearly full, finding those images that you are missing becomes a big pre-occupation.

The badge themes were all carefully thought out to be STEM related. When they have earned a set of badges in a specific category (e.g., Hydraulics), they earn an accolade badge for that category.

But my favourite part of the project is absolutely the illustrative mural across the foldout. When I was a child, I loved scanning every illustrative corner of a picture book. I wanted to create that same experience and really elevate the importance and meaning behind these badges.
