Knowledgehook Social Media
When I first started working here, we only had a Twitter presence because we were lucky that teachers tagged us all the time whenever they used Knowledgehook. Our Instagram, Facebook, and Linkedin were non-existent.
Even if a company cannot keep up postings for social media consistently, it's really awful for a brand to have zilch posts. The difference between 0 and 1 is much more significant than 999 to 1000. The point is, at the very minimum, having some filler posts or activity on your feed will help validate that your brand is there and alive.
I kickstarted our Instagram grid with 9 posts to cover the feed.
Here are some easy post ideas you can start with, too:
Quotes - It's easy to find quotes that align with your brand values. Also text-only images don't require as much design work.
Tips - Provide helpful tips that your consumers can relate and use.
Feature callout - It doesn't have to be the main or a big feature. You can even callout a nifty shortcut function that your users would appreciate
Image or illustration - Instagram is a visual platform. Find any image that aligns with your brand values or represents the culture of your consumers, or just use an existing brand asset or pattern.
