Sometimes the best way to showcase UI instructions is to convert it to simple illustrations. This works great for use in collateral because at this experimental stage, the real product interface is constantly evolving and updating, which may confuse users if the collateral does not align with the updated interface. This keeps it generic enough to offer the flexibility the company needs.
