Restaurants register - Design Revamp
The aim of this project is to further enhance the self-onboarding process for restaurants on Rappi. We have crafted this solution based on our findings from thorough exploration and addressing various usability issues identified in the previous iteration. Our goal was to enhance the entire flow, which has been divided into three versions. The images presented here showcase the second version, building upon the foundations laid in the first.
Version 1 (MVP) focused on the launch setup page, allowing documents to be submitted in any order. It introduced a new structure distinguishing between sign-up and setup phases, with features such as the ability to save progress and resume later. Notable additions include a new funnel, separate signup and setup steps, an enhanced setup page, intuitive steppers, a progress bar, and accessibility to tutorial videos. The value proposition lies in the ease of finding step-by-step guidance, flexible document submission, seamless progression, and convenient access to resources.
Version 2 shifts focus to the landing page and streamlining the signup process for an improved mobile experience. It encompasses flow enhancements, landing page revisions, and A/B testing to optimize mobile usability. Changes to the signup process involve presenting information in digestible chunks, with confirmation messages at key milestones. A summary screen now consolidates marketplace settings, alongside adjustments to steppers and progress indicators. Noteworthy features include simplified sign-in methods (e.g., Google), expanded marketing space, reduced mobile scrolling, emphasis on Rappi's B2B selling points, and prominent visibility of the step-by-step tutorial. The emphasis is on delivering a straightforward, efficient, and visually uncluttered onboarding journey while accelerating lead generation.
Overall, these iterations reflect our commitment to refining the user experience, fostering seamless navigation, and maximizing the value proposition for both restaurant partners and Rappi users.
