Palm Ridge Midcentury Southwest Font
Palm Ridge is a beautiful display typeface inspired by midcentury Southwestern type – imagine a Palm Springs getaway or roadside desert diner.
Palm Ridge comes in three styles: Regular, Rounded, and Rough. It also supports dozens of languages, including Greek.
This fun font can be used for retro and modern designs alike. It’s ideal for branding, bold layouts, midcentury advertising, typography artwork, and more.
Each of the three Palm Ridge styles (regular, rounded, and rough) has 376 glyphs
consisting of:
the complete Latin alphabet (with all accent marks)
the complete Modern Greek alphabet (with all accent marks)
discretionary ligatures
stylistic and alternate glyphs (including an extra wide glyph set)
extensive punctuation, symbols, and diacritical markings
Languages
Palm Ridge supports dozens of languages which use the Latin and Greek alphabets. The most common languages it supports are: English, Catalan, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Flemish, French, German, Modern Greek, Italian, Maltese, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, and Swedish.
The OpenType ligatures are the fun part.
To get the most out of Palm Ridge, use software that supports Open Type fonts (Adobe programs, Corel Draw, Affinity Designer, etc). This type family has tons of built-in OpenType ligatures and alternates, which are what make it so customizable and decorative. You can always access the ligatures, alternates, and dingbats through your software's glyphs panel.
