BADLAPUR Artwork

Title Concept: Badla (Revenge)

The Hindi word "Badla" translates to "revenge," and the film takes place in a real-life city named Badla in Maharashtra, India. This double meaning became the foundation for the title design.

Visualizing Revenge

Initially, I envisioned a man standing in a bloody red rain, consumed by vengeance. Many variations explored his eyes filled with rage. However, a new concept emerged - a man blinded by his thirst for revenge. This led to the impactful design of a blindfolded figure with the film's title boldly displayed.

The Blindfold

The blindfold symbolizes the protagonist's distorted perspective, consumed by revenge. It creates a sense of mystery and intrigue, drawing the viewer into the film's narrative..
