Happy You by Kotak | Redesigned

To redesign the "Happy You" health tracking mobile application by Kotak, I began with a comprehensive exploration of the existing app and its features. I then explored similar apps to understand industry standards and user preferences. This involved analyzing user reviews to identify pain points and areas for improvement, as well as determining what aspects of the app users appreciate.

After gathering insights from both primary and secondary research, I categorized features and services based on the needs of both users and the business. Using pen and paper, I created low-fidelity wireframes to visualize the initial design concepts. These wireframes were then reviewed against the research findings to ensure alignment with user & business expectations.

Here's a summary of the key redesign elements:

🏠HOME: The home screen prioritizes user's progress and goal reminders, providing a clear overview of their health journey. Additionally, a "Track Your Health" section allows users to access comprehensive health status information. The "For You" section offers personalized content such as videos, podcasts, and affirmations to support users' well-being.

🚑Emergency Contacts: An emergency screen provides quick access to essential contacts, including on-call doctors, ambulance services, and emergency contacts of family and friends. This design follows the thumb rule, ensuring that users can swiftly reach critical assistance when needed.

💖Care: This section hosts a variety of health-related resources, including videos, meditation sounds, yoga asanas, affirmations, and blogs curated or certified by healthcare professionals. It serves as a comprehensive hub for users to explore and engage with wellness content.

🛒Store Integration: The app features a dedicated store where users can conveniently purchase medicines online. A tab listing local pharmacy stores allows users to order medications from nearby establishments, enhancing accessibility and convenience.

🎁Rewards System: Users are incentivized through a rewards system, earning coins that can be redeemed for vouchers, offers, or cash to purchase pharmacy products within the app. Challenges and educational content are incorporated to encourage user engagement and participation.

Following the validation of the low-fidelity wireframes through local testing, high-fidelity wireframes and a prototype were developed to further refine the design and functionality of the app. This iterative process ensures that the final product meets the needs and expectations of both users and the business.
