Awning and Canopy Designs

This was an illustration set I did to help a local fabric construction company, Fabricon, explain what different kinds of awnings and canopies they could create for their client's needs.

It was really created to give people a good place to start from because honestly the options are pretty limitless on what you can create, so a big part of the challenge with this project was trying to come up with a straight forward way to depict this information. In the most basic and simplified manner I could.

After a lot of research and organizing - I'm really proud of the solution I came up with the overwhelming amount of information there was to sift through. I learned a lot of interesting information about fabric forms and construction because of it that, I would have never had any idea about existed. It felt a lot like being in school, but honestly I loved it!
