Description

This was perhaps one of my favorite projects I've done for my design courses. For this project I had to redesign a book cover of my choice. I chose a favorite of mine, Her Majesy's Royal Coven (HMRC) by Juno Dawson, because I felt the cover could use some improvement. 

Before I started to sketch, I created a word list describing the book to help indentiyfing elements for the cover. From that list I established to highlight the strong femininity in the story, something that wasn't shown in the original cover. I approached this with the very pink color pallete. And of course a book about witches must be witchy. The bee is a call back to the creator of Her Majesty's Royal Coven Anne Boylen.
